The looming food crisis due to lack of or the coming scarcity of oil is something that is on very few people's radars.

Unfortunately, humanity is in for a rude awakening, and soon.

Prof. William Rees, and Prof Tom Murphy (who also published an excellent textbook on our energy ambitions on a finite planet -available for free) are even more pessimistic.

Meanwhile we hope and fiddle while the Earth burns.
