I agree completely. Unfortunately, population control is only ever discussed within the framework of "education leads to decline in birth rates" and no other conversation is possible. From American evangelicals fetishizing having kids (18 and counting by the Duggars) to Turkey's Erdogan urging people to have 5 kids or more, it is a forbidden topic.
