I agree that the reason we rushed out of Afghanistan is the coming conflict(s). I appreciate the analysis that this might be a Nixon moment for Biden. It was/is beginning to look like a pincher movement, with Russia in Ukraine and China getting progressively more aggressive against Taiwan. Throw a spark in the Middle East and I'm not sure the US can handle 3 theaters against state actors, especially right now.
