If wishes were fishes....
Applied for, planned, new technologies being tested, a game changer, growth is SET to explode..... all mean NOTHING and neither does the colorful pictures from the IEA. Asserting that the above mealy mouthed claims infer that " with these developments and technologies there is no longer ANY reason to doubt the US's ability convert..." is at best horribly misleading. There are plenty of reasons to doubt.
Also, The speed at which this transition could be implemented is oddly missing from these arguments.
We have very few years left.
On top of that, 1200 mostly solar projects, presumably a subset of the 1400 breathlessly awaiting new technologies, construction and approval have been put on hold:
Show me the terawatts.
