If history and archeology are to be believed there was a time when the people who decided the fate of their tribes and nations derived their just powers from God and since the French Revolution from the consent of the governed. We are now at a point where people whose God is money believe it is their just right to rule and that their God will save them and strike down anyone of us that dares to complain.
Today their power is only derived from their wealth and the only consent that matters to them is the consent of the people that have a little bit less money than they do but are still 20 to 30 times richer than the average global citizen. Not you probably and not I for sure.
We live in a world now where 10% of the population controls 85% of the wealth. That’s 800 million people. But not even all of those people matter.
As of 2020, the 2153 billionaires have more wealth than 4.6 billion people at the bottom of this Ponzi scheme. And since 2020 the richest 1% has grabbed nearly 2/3 of the new wealth generated, about $42 trillion. That’s twice as much as the bottom 99% of the global population!
