Thank you. It is so frustrating to see lies, half-truths and techno-optimism pushed daily on an unsuspecting and under-informed public.

My response to that article from One Earth was:

"Unless we differentiate between possibilities and probabilities we will keep spinning our wheels and allow powers-that-be to lie and obfuscate.

A technical possibility of 1.5C using CCS, net zero accounting tricks and solar panels built with pixie dust while ignoring the exponentially increasing energy needs of an economy and a financial system addicted to constant growth is a lie.

It may technically not be a Zero probability event but even a basic understanding of statistics would make one realize that betting the whole planet on an approach that is 3 standard deviations away from the mean is foolish."
