I am done with mealy-mouthed platitudes, comparisons to Berlin 1939, quotes about evil succeeding through the silence of the good or how they first came for this or that population and you didn’t speak out and then they came for you yada yada….
The fascist coup that almost succeeded on January 6th did not fail. It wasn’t an event but a process, it won’t be stopped by endless hearings or a few minions in jail. It is still going strong and the new face of the fascist movement in the U.S. is the head fascist of Florida. Him.
I have not written about Ron DeSantis before. I used to think there were more important things to write about. Climate change, humanity’s overshoot of our resources, the coming economic hardships, energy crunch, Ukraine war… I mean there were so many more things more important than Ron Death-Sentence!
